Leadership at the Mouse Biology Program

Guiding Innovation in Biomedical Research

The Mouse Biology Program (MBP) is led by a team of dedicated professionals committed to advancing biomedical research through innovative mouse model development, comprehensive phenotyping, and effective colony management. Our leadership team brings expertise, strategic vision, and a collaborative approach to drive impactful discoveries that improve human health.

The Director of MBP oversees the program’s overall strategy, growth, and scientific direction. They set research priorities, foster collaborations, and ensure the program’s mission of supporting the global biomedical community is met. Associate Directors manage specific program areas, including genetic engineering, phenotyping services, colony management, and education and outreach. They uphold the highest scientific rigor, quality control, and compliance standards across all divisions.

Principal Investigators (PIs) lead targeted research projects and collaborations, working closely with scientists, technicians, and partners. They are responsible for experimental design, data analysis, and advancing the application of mouse models in disease research and drug development. Program Managers handle the day-to-day operations, focusing on resource management, staff oversight, and the seamless delivery of services to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Veterinary team ensures the health and welfare of all animals, maintaining ethical standards and regulatory compliance throughout the program. Their leadership is critical in preserving the integrity of mouse colonies and supporting successful research outcomes.

At MBP, our leaders are committed to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Strategic initiatives and expert guidance ensure that the program remains a vital resource for advancing scientific knowledge and improving health outcomes.
