Sperm phenotyping and analysis are vital for assessing male reproductive health and determining IVF potential. Our advanced digital IVOS system enables precise measurement of key sperm parameters during cryopreservation. We analyze concentration (millions/ml), total motility (percentage of moving sperm), rapid motility (percentage with average path velocity, VAP, of 10 µm/s or more), and progressive motility (percentage with VAP of 50 µm/s or more). Color, consistency, and volume are recorded, with abnormalities flagged for further investigation.
To ensure a complete evaluation, we conduct a detailed microscopic analysis of sperm head and tail morphology at 400X magnification. At least 100 sperm are assessed across multiple fields to identify any irregularities, providing a comprehensive understanding of male fertility and potential breeding challenges. This thorough approach enhances the quality of reproductive health assessments and supports more efficient breeding strategies and successful reproductive outcomes.
